City Centre | Sleeps 6 | Bars, Parking & Netflix

Central location, but disrupted sleep due to local bars and clubs into early hours. Positive: The location and the parking were very helpful. Close to the center of Liverpool, plenty of shops and bars nearby. Communication from the host was very good, with clear instructions on the parking and check in/out process. Negative: Being so close to the bars meant that there was a lot of noise into the early hours of the morning (music and noise until 4am). Then at 8am, you'd also get the loud crashing of glass bottles being poured into the bin! The entry of the apartment block had an odd smell - almost like bleach covering up worse smells. We visited when it was really hot outside, and climbing the 3 floors of stairs to the top floor wasnt easy; and the apartment itself never cooled down even with the fans that the host provided. I would only really recommend this place for someone who is visiting and planning on being awake in the early hours (or can sleep with ear plugs).

Comfortable Downtown Accommodation Positive: Central location with free parking on FCFS basis. Good apartment facilities, could have done with a bottle/corkscrew though. Property owner provides noise cancelling filters and ear plugs for those wanting to sleep through the wee hours. Comfortable bed and good shower cubicle. Roof fan lights, electric fans provided. Negative: Right in the middle of a night time entertainment/pub and club area with accompanying noise and on the 4th floor with no elevator - but this also had the benefit of reducing the noise that reaches the apartment.
